The man behind the wedding cake


"The SDG's are not equally important." That's a statement by Prof. Johan Rockström. The Director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research says that some of the SDG's are more aspirational than others.


His way of explaining it: the wedding cake, with the Biosphere goals at the bottom. These are the core. The next layer is formed by the societal goals and the economical goals are at the top. Only when the two first layers are ok, we can think about the top layer. Made us think...
